A two-tone tower of rotating loops, Spinoval puts a new spin on the classic stack spiral. By alternating the tri-color rings from dark-light-dark to light-dark-light the horizontal color bands weave into an unexpected 8-bit pattern when viewed from the side. Move the perspective up or down and the unusual color pattern seems to disguise or obfuscate the physical symmetry of the structure - the effect is an initial impression of disorder that resolves into a coherent pattern upon closer inspection.
